Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Swoon On Price War Fears

Phone company stocks swooned on Thursday as investors braced for a wireless price war. Shares of Verizon Communications and AT&T (T) were both down nearly 2% in afternoon trading Thursday. Sprint (S) stock was down 4% and T-Mobile US (TMUS) was down 1% in the stock market today. At the Consumer Electronics Show on Wednesday, T-Mobile announced “Uncarrier 4.0,” a promotion that will pay off early-termination fees when people cancel service with Scalper1 News
