Data storage startup Tintri, a marketing partner of VMware (VMW), raised $125 million in a funding round, nearly doubling its venture capital investments. Mountain View, Calif.-based Tintri competes with NetApp (NTAP) as well as Nimble Storage (NMBL) and IBM (IBM).
