The next version of Google Glass, the wearable computer being developed by Web search leader Google (GOOGL), will be powered by chips made by Intel (INTC), the semiconductor giant now pursuing the wearable tech market, according to a report Monday in the Wall Street Journal. Starting next year, an Intel chip will replace a processor from Texas Instruments (TXN) in Google Glass, according to the paper, which cited people familiar with the Scalper1 News
