Microsoft’s Windows 8 Suffers Embarrassing Setback

One month after Microsoft’s (MSFT) Windows 8 finally surpassed Windows XP in market share by usage on the Internet, it fell back below the 13-year-old operating system in December. Windows 8 recorded 13.5% market share worldwide in terms of online usage last month, down sharply from 18.7% in November, according to Net Applications.
