Anti-Tesla Motors states win 2014 Luddite Award

The states of Arizona, Michigan, New Jersey and Texas have won the 2014 Luddite Award for their efforts to prevent  Tesla Motors (TSLA) from opening stores in their states to sell cars directly to consumers. Tesla Motors The Luddite Award is a dubious distinction given to governments, organizations and individuals for their efforts to stop new technologies and their potential benefits to society. The award is given by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank. ITIF created the Luddite Award to highlight the worst anti-technology ideas and actions of the year and the negative impacts they could cause for the Scalper1 News
