Amazon Now Charging Sales Taxes In Three More States

Amazon.com (AMZN) began charging sales taxes in Indiana, Nevada and Tennessee as of Wednesday, bringing to 19 the number of states where consumers are required to pay local sales taxes on Amazon purchases. The three additional states now appear on the list of states on Amazon’s website where shoppers are informed that they’re subject to state sales taxes.
