Steve Jurvetson, a partner at venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson, is a self-confessed space nut. That’s one reason DFJ was an early investor in SpaceX, the manufacturer of rockets and space capsules that was founded by Elon Musk, who is also the founder and CEO of electric car company Tesla Motors (TSLA) and chairman of solar installation leader SolarCity (SCTY).
