Meerkat has gone viral in just a few weeks, with the live video streaming app poised to be the big hit at the South by Southwest festival just underway. But Twitter (TWTR) has began restricting Meerkat’s access to its network after confirming it has bought Periscope, a live streaming app that has yet to launch. “We are limiting their access to Twitter’s social graph, consistent with our internal policy,” a spokesperson said Friday in an email.
