Owners of Tesla Motors’ (TSLA) original Roadster are getting a holiday gift from CEO Elon Musk. Tesla announced a Roadster 3.0 package on its company blog Friday, with improvements to the car’s battery, aerodynamics and rolling resistance. Those upgrades, combined, will increase the roadster’s range by 40% to 50%, Tesla predicts. Tesla shares gained 1.8% to 226.31 on the stock market today.
