Tesla stock, dented lately, lifted 2% in afternoon trading in the stock market Wednesday astride word that Tesla Motors (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk wants to build pickup trucks. While the electric carmaker’s next vehicle will be the crossover SUV Model X, Musk is quoted in a report by Business Insider as saying that he sees the company perhaps offering a pickup truck down the road about five years.
