As Super Bowl viewers browsed the Internet via handsets during Sunday’s game, many were spurred by high-cost commercials to visit company websites — websites that had varied success with all that traffic. The average load time for the smartphone-specific websites of advertisers was about 20 seconds, which is too long, says Keynote Systems (KEYN) in a report released midday Monday.
