Microsoft gets boost from executive changes, Build buzz

Microsoft stock hit another 14-year high on Monday as new CEO Satya Nadella announced a series of executive appointments to reshape the software giant. It was the second round of leadership changes in March for Nadella, a longtime Microsoft executive who was appointed CEO on Feb. 4. On Monday, Nadella promoted Scott Guthrie to executive vice president of Microsoft ‘s (MSFT) cloud and enterprise business and elevated Phil Spencer to head the Xbox business. He also announced that former Nokia (NOK) CEO Stephen Elop will be executive vice president of Microsoft’s devices group upon the closing of Microsoft’s acquisition of the Nokia handset business.
