Former Yahoo (YHOO) executive Chen Zhang has joined China e-commerce company JD.com as senior vice president, where he will oversee research & development for JD Mall. Zhang’s move to JD.com (JD) comes two weeks after news that Yahoo would close one its last remaining Chinese offices, which was established in 2009 and employs 300.
