Speculation that Finisar (FNSR) could soon acquire the Communications and Commercial Optical (CCOP) business of JDS Uniphase cooled at industry conference. Analysts attending the Optical Fiber Communication 2015 exhibition this week are coming away with the view that a deal is more likely to happen after Milpitas, Calif.-based JDS Uniphase (JDSU) spins off its CCOP unit, not before.
