Analysts say slow U.S. holiday sales might cause eBay (EBAY) to post lighter-than-expected revenue when it reports fourth-quarter results after the market close Wednesday. A poll of 42 analysts by Thomson Reuters finds they, on average, expect the payments and e-commerce powerhouse to post EPS minus items of 80 cents, up 14% from 70 cents in the year-earlier quarter.
