VeriFone Systems (PAY) skidded 7% in the stock market today, a day after the global electronic payments provider issued a disappointing outlook for the current quarter, though its fiscal Q4 results edged sales and earnings views. VeriFone makes debit- and credit-card processing machines for businesses worldwide.
