Quarterly earnings reports outweighed the start of the holiday shopping season, leaving a week of widely varied results among retail stocks. Some 13 of the 18 retail industry groups tracked daily by IBD lost ground for the week. Consumer electronic chains were the runaway best performing retail group, up 6.3% through Friday.
