Berkshire Hathaway Boosts Stake in Apple, Phillips 66; Trims Holdings in Wal-Mart, Deere

Shares of Apple ( AAPL ) were inching higher pre-market Tuesday after Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B) disclosed in its 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it raised its stake in the technology giant to 15.2 million shares at the end of June from 9.8 million shares at the end of March.

The conglomerate also boosted its stake in energy logistics firm Phillips 66 ( PSX ) to 78.8 million shares from 75.6 million shares while reducing its holdings in retailer Wal-Mart ( WMT ) and farm equipment maker Deere ( DE ) to 40.2 million shares and 22 million shares from 55.2 million and 23.3 million shares, respectively.
