Reports of easily damaged Apple (AAPL) iPhone 6 smartphones could be a boon for mobile device insurers and makers of protective cases. Online forums have been abuzz with news lately that the iPhone 6 Plus can bend if you keep it in your pocket during normal use. Photos of warped iPhone 6 Plus handsets quickly circulated through social media sites this week. One YouTube video even showed how easy it is to bend the iPhone 6 Plus. Of course, that’s a problem for people who carry naked iPhones. Many iPhone users learned long ago to cloth their iPhones with hard cases (often with an extra battery) and screen protectors.
