A pple Watch demand appears strong, but sales could be hindered by short battery life, high prices and the need to tether the wearable device to a newer iPhone, a survey by Cowen & Co. indicates. “Our survey indicates a big demand pool for Apple Watch potentially exists, provided the company can ‘get it right’ with pricing, specifications and feature/functionality,” Cowen analyst Timothy Arcuri said in a report Monday. “Specifically, the survey highlights price, battery life and tethering as key factors that could limit initial Apple Watch sales until Apple releases a 2.0 version that offers potential improvements in these areas.” Scalper1 News
