Apple stock hits new high as iPad prices hit new lows

While Apple’s stock is busting ceilings, Apple’s products are poised to bust some doors this holiday shopping season. Apple (AAPL) stock hit an all-time high of 111.17 on the stock market today. In afternoon trading Wednesday, Apple stock was up above 1%, just below its record high. The stock action comes as Best Buy (BBY) and other retailers are preparing to use Apple products for “grubstaker” sales on Thanksgiving evening and Black Friday (Nov. 28), the official start of the Christmas shopping season. For its Black Friday sales, Best Buy will be offering $100 off all models of the pad Air 2, which was introduced on Oct. 16 starting at $499. Plus, it is cutting $75 off all pad Mini 3 models, with sale prices starting at $324.99.
