Analysts see strength in media sales and profit margin expansion helping bolster Amazon.com (AMZN) when the e-tail leader reports first-quarter results after the market close Thursday. The consensus estimate of 44 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters is for the e-commerce giant to post earnings per share minus items, but including stock option expenses, of 23 cents a share, up 28% from 18 cents in the year-earlier quarter, on sales of $19.4 billion, Scalper1 News
