2U IPO Rises, Aerohive Falls In Stock Market Debuts

Friday’s launch of two technology IPOs became a story of opposites. Shares of 2U (TWOU), which provides online education services, were up 7% in their debut, but shares of Aerohive Networks (HIVE), which sells a cloud-based mobile networking platform, were down 5% in early afternoon trading in the stock market today. 2U offered 8 million shares at an opening price of 13, to raise $119.2 million.
