Citrix Systems (CTXS) might be getting a reality check from VMware (VMW). In a research report Monday, Gregg Moskowitz, an analyst for Cowen and Co., says VMware could be preparing to launch a new version of its desktop virtualization software that would compete directly with similar software from Citrix.
