VMware Growth Prospects Earn Upbeat Analyst Reports

More analysts are buying into the VMware (VMW) story. On Thursday, Daniel Ives, an analyst for FBR Capital Markets & Co., raised his price target on the enterprise software company based on near-term prospects in its core virtualization software market and expectations of cracking new markets, including the emerging Software-Defined Networking area.
