Verizon, AT&T Slide As Auction Hits $36 Billion

Shares of AT&T (T) and Verizon Communications (VZ) edged down again on Tuesday as bidding in a U.S. government auction of radio spectrum reached $36 billion. Verizon’s stock is down 4% since the Advanced Wireless Service No. 3 spectrum auction started on Nov. 13.
