Yahoo (YHOO) will redirect ads from its blogging platform Tumblr to other Yahoo properties, as the company continues an effort to simplify its advertising buying across all its platforms. The blogging site’s advertising will be “seamlessly promoted across Yahoo and Tumblr,” wrote Mike Kerns, Yahoo’s senior vice president of home page and verticals in a blog post. The news is the biggest integration yet of Tumblr with Yahoo services such as Yahoo Scalper1 News
