Top Web Firms Form Global Anti-Surveillance Group

The CEOs of eight of the largest U.S. tech companies Monday announced the formation of a coalition that calls for the reform of “government surveillance practices worldwide” and urges the U.S. to take the lead by reining in unnecessary surveillance by the National Security Agency.
