Innovation is what drives much of the earnings growth in the stock market. Innovative companies aren’t hard to find, but some industry groups are known for innovation more than others. One of the best examples is IBD’s Medical-Systems/Equipment industry group. It’s been working its way higher in IBD’s 197 rankings. Six months ago, the group ranked 84th; three months ago, 42nd.
