Apple Chip Suppliers NXP, Cirrus Retake Key Level

Two Apple (AAPL) chip suppliers reclaimed a key level in Friday’s shortened trading session: NXP Semiconductors (NXPI) and Cirrus Logic (CRUS). NXP Semi on Friday was given regulatory approval from China’s Ministry of Commerce to complete its $12 billion dollar merger with Freescale Semiconductor (FSL). Universal Display Up On iPhone Speculation

Light-emitting diode makers Universal Display (OLED) and LG Display (LPL) were up Friday, hitting five- and four-month highs, respectively, after a Japanese news report said its products might be in the next Apple (AAPL) iPhone.
