Sprint Subscriber Loss Seen Growing, M&A Talk Cools

Sprint (S), which reports Q4 results before the market open on Tuesday, is expected to be the only national U.S. wireless firm to report a net loss of postpaid subscribers, those with service contracts. Sprint is expected to report a loss of 401,000 postpaid customers, up from a 243,000-subscriber loss in the year-earlier period, according to the consensus estimate.
