The triple-A booster shot — Apple (AAPL), autos and Amazon (AMZN) — that has fueled U.S. retail sales is losing some of its gravity-defying magic. Just ask Best Buy (BBY), which on Thursday said disappointing sales of the Apple iPhone 6S, due to the lack of “a newness factor,” were in no small part to blame for the electronics retailer’s poor holiday results.
