Semi-retired talk-show host Regis Philbin isn’t slowing down when it comes to investing. The 82-year-old TV personality appeared on CNBC after the market close on Monday to talk about Micron Technology, one of his tech investments. The excitable Bronx native said he couldn’t believe the memory-chip maker was down in after-hours trading after it posted a beat-and-raise quarter. Micron Technology (MU) fell as much as 1.6% in late trading, but rebounded after Philbin’s appearance on CNBC. Was Philbin’s boundless enthusiasm behind the bounce or did investors change their mind on Micron’s report?
