Priceline Buying Ctrip Stake In Big China Travel Bet

Online travel agency Priceline Group (PCLN) plans to invest $500 million in Ctrip.com International, expanding its partnership with China’s largest online travel company as travel in China booms. The two companies have been commercial partners since 2012, and the new agreement will further push cross-promotion between the two sites and give customers access to a wider array of hotel inventory.
