Computer graphics processor giant Nvidia (NVDA) soundly beat Wall Street estimates with third-quarter earnings reported after the market close, sending the stock up more than 7% in after-hours trading. Nvidia reported revenue of $1.3 billion, up 7% from the same quarter a year ago and topping the consensus estimate of $1.18 billion tracked by Thomson Reuters.
