Nonprofits Tell Story On Social Networks

Nonprofits are turning to online social networks to broadcast their missions and raise money. Donations might not immediately follow the start of online campaigns, but nonprofits make connections with potential supporters, says Ken Berger, president of Charity Navigator, a nonprofit that evaluates and rates U.S. charities. “The sense is that the most powerful use for social networking is building relationships with future donors,” Berger said.
