Major averages rose yesterday on mixed volume, higher on the NASDAQ Composite, lower on the S&P 500, with the S&P 500 closing at all-time highs and the NASDAQ Composite having its best gain since January 22. A number of actionable names arose. Odds once again favor an upside breakout especially given the tighter trading ranges of the major averages and the number of leading stocks that are shaping up the right side of their bases.
