Small biotech Cellular Dynamics (ICEL) more than doubled in heavy trading Monday to close at 16.42 on news that it is being acquired. Japanese giant Fujifilm (FUJIY), a photography gearmaker that branched into biotech, agreed to pay $307 million in cash, or $16.50 a share, for Cellular Dynamics, which has developed a technology platform for industrial-scale production of human cells.
