The Internet of Things refers to wireless technology that connects industrial, medical, automotive and consumer devices to the Web. AT&T, in a report the company released Thursday, says the number of times hackers scanned its network and systems for cybersecurity vulnerabilities increased by 62% from 2013 to 2014.
