HP Inc. Guidance Disappoints As PC, Printer Sales Sag

Newly minted PC and printer company HP Inc. (HPQ) late Tuesday gave its first guidance as a publicly traded company — and it was a letdown. For the current quarter, HP Inc.’s fiscal Q1, it expects earnings per share minus items of 33 to 38 cents, vs. analyst expectations for 42 cents. On a GAAP basis, it is targeting EPS of 27 to 32 cents, vs. Wall Street’s view of 38 cents. For fiscal 2016, ending Oct. 31, 2016, HP Inc. expects to earn $1.59 to Scalper1 News
