GoPro, Ambarella surge ahead of Thanksgiving weekend sales

GoPro shares surged higher on Tuesday as the maker of action cameras prepared for a busy holiday shopping season, which officially kicks off with sales on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. GoPro (GPRO) stock was up 5%, near 85.50, in afternoon trading on the stock market today. Shares hit a record high of 98.47 on Oct. 7. The company went public on June 26 at 24. GoPro stock has been hurt in recent weeks by valuation concerns and a pending secondary stock offering. On Monday, GoPro revealed details of its follow-on stock offering.
