Global sales of semiconductors rose 10% to a record $28.1 billion in July vs. July 2013, the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) reported. The July revenue was up 2.4% from $27.4 billion in June. Sales in the Americas rose 8.1% compared with July 2013.
