Shares of First Solar (FSLR) and SunPower (SPWR) lit up Thursday after the companies posted solid earnings and guidance, but SolarCity fell. Late Thursday, solar panel maker First Solar said Q3 earnings jumped 288% vs. the year-earlier quarter and projected another 12.5% EPS growth for Q4. SolarCity (SCTY) stock, however, was down 20% in after-hours trading, after the No. 1 solar installer reported Q3 per-share losses that deepened. SunPower Scalper1 News
