Facebook’s latest strategy: If you can’t join ’em, beat ’em. Facebook (FB) is developing a Snapchat copycat app called Slingshot, according to the Financial Times. Last year, Facebook tried to buy Snapchat, a picture and text messaging app, for $3 billion, but was turned down.
