LinkedIn stock fell Monday as reports surfaced that Facebook is developing a website for professionals that could also challenge Google and Microsoft. The new site will look very much like current Facebook (FB) pages, with a newsfeed and groups, but will also allow users to create a business profile separate from the traditional Facebook pages, said a report Monday in the Financial Times, citing people familiar with the matter.
