Delivery service Eat24 slams Facebook, quits network

Web-based restaurant delivery service Eat24 is the latest company to criticize Facebook (FB) for changing the news feed on its market-leading social networking site. Eat24 is so fed up with Facebook’s meddling that it is deleting its Facebook page at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time Monday. Eat24 complained about Facebook’s news feed changes in a blog post on Thursday that went viral after being picked up by news media outlets. The blog post is titled “A Breakup Letter to Facebook (FB)  from Eat24.” The company said Facebook has changed from a “smart, funny social network” that let Eat24 easily communicate with its customers to one where it’s being bugged to pay for placement in users’ news feeds. “Now you want us to give you money if we want to talk to our friends.
