Machines are poised to take over the Internet, and service providers had better get ready. That message is part of a report set to be released Tuesday that projects that growth of Internet-connected devices ranging from wearables to devices in smart cars will outstrip the growth of connected PCs, smartphones and tablets in the next four years. By 2018, machines will account for 35% of all Internet-connected devices, up from 18.6% last year, says Scalper1 News
