Apple (AAPL) chip supplier Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) and Microsemi (MSCC) are trading punches Friday, both raising their offers to acquire PMC-Sierra (PMCS). Early Friday, Skyworks raised its bid from $10.50 a share to $11.60 a share, 10 cents higher than Microsemi’s unsolicited offer of $11.50 a share. The first Microsemi bid was submitted on Oct. 19, two weeks after Skyworks’ original proposal. Several hours after Skyworks announced its new bid, Scalper1 News
