Cable Firms Trump Telcos In Internet Broadband Gains

The largest cable and telephone providers in America added about 360,000 net high-speed Internet subscribers in the second quarter. The increase was largely due to gains among Comcast (CMCSA), Time Warner Cable (TWC) and other cable providers, which added 512,000 total subscribers in Q2.
