BlackBerry Classic nixes touchscreen tapping for keypad mashing

BlackBerry (BBRY) is going retro for its latest smartphone, a handset with a qwerty keypad that mirrors the look of its once-dominant devices from the pre-iPhone days. With the BlackBerry Classic, out Wednesday, the Waterloo, Ontario-based company is hoping to woo back customers who prefer typing emails and texts on a physical keypad rather than a glass display as popularized by Apple’s (AAPL) iPhone.
